A new Infiniti EV concept will be revealed on August 23
Infiniti will debut a new electric concept vehicle at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti has highlighted its vision to blend performance and electrification with a concept vehicle that offers a glimpse into Infiniti’s desire to deliver a thrilling drive experience from electrified powertrains. The concept car was built by teams in Japan, the UK and the US, and executive design director Karim Habib in charge.
Infiniti started the year with announcing its plans to become an EV brand. The luxury automaker promised to introduce electrified powertrains from 2021. Following the introductions of the retro e-roadster Prototype 9 and stunning Q Inspiration, this new concept vehicle could be laying the foundations for the company’s all-electric powertrain strategy.
“Our new concept provides clues to where the Infiniti brand is heading. For us, electrification means performance – our electrified cars will be powerful, efficient, and fun to drive, and the new concept is a physical representation of our electrified performance future,” said Karim Habib, Infiniti executive design director .
